Hotfix 0.8.6 2026-09-02
- Balance: food, water and fatigue drain reduced 15% in standard mode (Easy and Story remain, switchable mid-game)
- DIY upgrades in food/water machines no longer reset to 100 durability when removed
- Gamepad no longer locks on and blocks keyboard
- Invisible cursor fixed for players with a yoke, wheel or pedals connected
- Station robot now leaves its door if you died during the first dialogue and respawned on the train
- Battery on the hatch: any battery from any location now works
- Knocking ice off the 10G antenna too fast now counts
- Breaking the ice on the station door now advances the quest
- Steam Trading Cards added

- Yellow training dummy stops falling in space after leaving a gravity zone
- A dead guy’s items no longer fall through his model inside gravity zones
- Single and double doors react to carried physics objects (figurine, mattress)
- Train doors open earlier
- Wrong wrench icon removed from double doors
- Clay statue: placed parts lock their slot; stuck balls sit 1 m above position
- Zarya shuttle antenna repair no longer traps the character
- “Repair the speaker” markers fixed; marker moved to the oxygen terminal
- Camera no longer locks to horizontal after clicking the train lamp
- Known issue: AZERTY keyboard layouts

Known issues the developers have acknowledged
- AZERTY keyboard layouts (listed in 0.8.5; fix promised for an upcoming update).
- Steam error 0x11C7 at launch — Windows 11 Smart App Control blocking the new executable; see the known issues guide.
- Save data lives in AppData/Local/Breathedge2/Saved/SaveGames; the studio says it is trying to avoid wipes during Early Access.
